About me

Hello, I’m Rami Mina, a retired Southern California trailblazer. I have blazed the trail through-out my long and varied life. First, immigrating from Egypt before it became fashionable in the late 50’s, then, starting my career at Kodak in Rochester, NY and transferring to the motion picture division in Hollywood California and winning two Oscars, (for Kodak not me, of course), and finally, to selling my house and getting rid of ALL of my stuff to embark on several consecutive world cruises. I am confident that whatever tomorrow brings will be as challenging and exciting as the past.

I love to meet new people, hear their stories and experience the unknown. My guiding principles are: ‘Don’t worry, be happy’, ‘live and let live’ and finally, ‘don’t take yourself too seriously’. I’m adventurous and fearless and believe anything you do is OK provided it does not offend or hurt others.

This blog is an attempt to comply with my many friend’s and relative’s requests for updates. I will limit my posts to interesting or unusual events and strive to keep them brief.
